Someone said: He said US light, not USB port.
Someone said: I went through the plug/unplug exercise per Comcast's technical support having lost internet connectivity immediately after installing a Ubee Cable Modem. After a couple of tries and resets from Comcast all is working. However, the US and DS lights are red. Comcast stated that that was because I am connecting my computers via a router. The US and DS lights remained green when a computer was direct connected to te cable modem. The red lights are a bit disconcerting: however my connections are good and faster via DOCSIS. Will investigate further.
Someone said: It means your signal is bad and you need to call and have them fix it. Bad technician installed it. Lol
Someone said: Usually when a Tel light is blinking it represents the line being "In Use" meaning you may have a phone off the hook. It could also be a problem with the home's wiring, or even the modem/signal itself. One way to check is to unplug phone line from the Tel 1 jack, and place a single phone into the jack itself, check if you have dial tone and can call out/in if it works, the problem is in the house wiring. If not the problem is with the modem/signal.
